Questions seeking information begin with words such as Who, Whom, Whose, Which, What, Why, When, Where, How, etc, start with ‘Wh’ and they are called Wh Words.

Exception: The word ‘How’ starts with ‘H’ and ends with ‘W’ but it is also called a Wh-word.
